The storyline of Tomb Raider King bears some resemblance to the acclaimed manhwa Solo Leveling. The world in 2025 is in turmoil with the emergence of relics that can bestow various powers and unique abilities. Besides, Protagonist Seo Jooheon approaches relics later than other explorers but luckily discovers an astonishing relic called the “Architect” that enhances his knowledge of tombs and vital information related to relics.
However, the changing world leads him to TKBM, Kwon Tae joon, and the tomb raiding profession. Jooheon’s success in tomb raiding only benefits Tae joon, and people despise Jooheon, considering him a servant of a dictator. Tae joon eventually betrays Jooheon by luring him into a tomb containing a powerful relic to eliminate the threat. As he faces death in the tomb, another relic in the form of a tomb raider bird sends him back 15 years, to a time before tombs and relics were known. With a burning desire for revenge and a goal to dominate the tombs, Jooheon uses his accumulated knowledge to establish himself as a formidable Tomb Raider King.
Character Review
Seo Jooheon is a character who embodies dominance from the start. His dominance doesn’t arise from rare items or skills but rather from his knowledge and adeptness in every action and plan. He is somewhat selfish, making it clear that the main character doesn’t necessarily have to be virtuous or a shining-armored knight.
In many manhwas, comics, or light novels, when the main character is selfish, they are portrayed as a villain. However, Seo Joo-Heon is not a villainous character; he is simply someone who prioritizes himself first.
Other Elements
