Since MSI 2023, T1 has been unable to secure a single victory over Gen.G, both domestically and internationally. While Gen.G continuously adapts their roster and meticulously analyzes T1, the repeated losses to their direct title contenders remain a source of frustration for fans and analysts alike.
Therefore, a triumph at MSI 2024 would instantly silence the doubts and criticisms surrounding T1. Additionally, it would put an end to their losing streak against the reigning LCK champions and establish a strong foundation heading into the Summer Split.
First Team to Win MSI After Defeating All Major Region #1 Seeds
This achievement would be a groundbreaking accomplishment in League of Legends history. No team has ever managed this feat since MSI’s inception. From a certain perspective, winning MSI this year could hold equal weight to their Worlds 2023 victory.
